Tooling
Customer owned tooling is kept in a controlled inventory for maintenance and modification requests. Worswick has an incoming inspection program to ensure that purchased materials are of the specified quality. Certifications and MSDS are cataloged in order to comply with quality assurance and customer requirements. First articles, incoming and preshipping inspections are performed in order to assure compliance to customer specifications.
Prior to building production tooling, Worswick helps to protect the customer from costly tool changes later in the program, by prototyping injection molded components. The prototypes are typically constructed of like materials and are available for close inspection and form-fit-functionality requirements.

Worswick has the ability to not only install TPU inserts, but also affix custom supplied labels and numerical decals. Each component is double checked for accuracy as the final product is approved by their quality department prior to final packaging.
Complex seat pallet assembly's are conducted on specially constructed assembly fixtures built for the specific program. All pins, slides, locks, nuts, bolts, and stops are triple checked for tightness and accuracy. Ergonomic considerations are always considered in the case of sliding locks and hold downs.
As you can see by the last picture, Worswick takes great pride in the way final products are handled in preparation for shipping to their customers, whether local or international.
​Worswick uses HT (heat treated) skids to comply with the border crossing requirements for international shipment. Standard packaging is always included, but custom packaging is also able to be supplied on a job by job basis. Flexibility to adapt to customer's changing needs makes it convenient and cost effective to deal with Worswick. When it's HOT, we can go 24/7 to make your date. We have opened a separate assembly facility.
